Robin Thicke Reveals ‘Paula’ Album Cover, Tracklisting

Paula

With two weeks to go, Robin Thicke has unveiled the cover and tracklisting for his seventh album Paula. The dark artwork shows the pensive singer with his head down and washed in red, yellow, and green.

The follow-up to last year’s chart-topper Blurred Lines is dedicated to his estranged wife Paula Patton. The couple, who’s been married for nine years and have a four-year-old son together, announced their separation in February, and Thicke has been trying for months to mend their relationship.

All 14 tracks were written and produced by Thicke with titles inspired by his wife including “You’re My Fantasy,” “Forever Love,” and the lead single “Get Her Back.”

“We got a lot to talk about on that subject,” Thicke told Steve Harvey. “I gotta impress her somehow. The truth shall set you free.”

See the tracklisting below.

Smdh I really hope this works for him to get her back and that this be his biggest selling album of his career. He needs to sell like 3xplat. I could see he made a couple songs about her,but a whole album and named after her. #fixitjesus

@EveRyder, Why should Jesus fix something Robin willfully did? He knew what he was doing. He should have fixed his mind in the first place to avoid doing it. That he’s using this to make money shows how pathetic he is.

    Robin’s “confessions” album (:

I like how everyone is saying his attempt is “desperation” or he’s being “thirsty” well he’ll yes he’s doing what he can to get his wife back, they’ve been together since they were in high school, if she goes through with the divorce at least he tried. What better way to express himself than through music, isn’t that the reason we listen to certain songs? I wish the best for them.

Dude is keeping it 100 by making an album about shit that’s important to him and that’s relevant to his frame of mind right now. Most artist just sing about bullshit most times. this album actually has a purpose and meaning. Dude must really love her…I guess know body believes in that anymore. To be honest Robin could probably do an album on whatever he like at this point in his career.

Robin has always been a great songwriter and musician overall. I know last year he broke into the mainstream due to “Blurred Lines” but I think this album won’t be as corny as people think just because he named it after his ex-wife. His ballads and mid-tempos have always been on point. I’m excited for it!
