New Music: The-Dream – ‘Royalty: The Prequel’ [EP]

Royalty: The Prequel

Just days after walking down the aisle, the newly-married Terius Nash returns to his first love with his EP Royalty: The Prequel, the first release on his independent label Contra Paris.

The R&B hitmaker reunites with Tricky Stewart on the seven tracks, which include “Wedding Bells,” Outkast,” and “Pimp C Lives.”

“Me and my Partner Tricky Stewart will do our best at showing you the world through the eyes Of the Young Black Dreamers,” said The-Dream, who parted ways with Def Jam earlier this year. “We want to change how you feel about Life through music and Culture and also change what we see in each other!”

Uninhibited Terius Nash. The best R&B/Hip Hop release this year, without a doubt.

Dream used to be very good and made very cool music but this EP right here is not so good I’m sorry to say but it is lack luster at best. The only song that is ok is Lake Michigan. I hope when he comes out with an album again he can channel the music he made on his first album.

Lake Michigan sounds like a Janet Jackson song. I wonder what it would sound like with her vocals on it.

Lake Michigan is the only good song on this. I don’t like his hiphop isn shit, I like that rob stuff better and should stick with instead of talking bout molly and shit that doesn’t matter, speak of love dream. First album the best, rest was bad with some decent songs
