Trey Songz

Trigga is on top. Trey Songz scores his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.

The R&B singer’s sixth LP, which features appearances from Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, and Juicy J, sold 105,000 copies in its first week to debut atop the chart, according to Billboard.

However, Trigga marks the smallest opening sales week for a full-length album since 2007’s Trey Day (73,000). His previous album, 2012’s Chapter V, also opened at No. 1, selling 135,000 in its first week.

“Thank you to everyone who went and spent their hard earned money on my album. #TRIGGA #1 because of you all. I’m forever grateful,” tweeted Trey.

Robin Thicke’s seventh album Paula, named after his estranged wife Paula Patton, makes its debut at No. 9 with 24,000. The sales are a far cry from his previous album, 2013’s Blurred Lines, which sold 177,000 copies.

Over in the U.K., Paula sold a paltry 530 copies in its opening week. In comparison, Blurred Lines sold over 25,000 copies just one year ago.
