Christina Milian may or may not be dating Lil Wayne, but she is working on a mixtape.
In an interview with Splash News (via HipHop-N-More), the Young Money singer revealed that the “fun and sexy” project will be called Tina Turn Up and will arrive prior to her album.
“I’m actually thinking of maybe doing a mixtape, which is cool because I’ll have the opportunity to release music instead of letting any song sit, and put out songs that might not necessarily fit on my album,” she said.
The mixtape, named after her alter ego, will consist of “some good party records.”
Lil Wayne rapped about his Young Money signee on “Tina Turn Up Needs a Tune Up,” which he debuted as part of Weezy Wednesdays.
“She need a king, fuck them princes / You’re a queen / Let’s have a princess,” he said of the newly-single Milian, who called off her engagement to Rap-A-Lot Records CEO Jas Prince last month.
She has also been in the studio with Weezy working on Tha Carter V as well as her Young Money debut, which is set to feature contributions from Polow Da Don, Kalenna, She’kspere, and Detail.
