Keyshia Cole Talks Lesbian Rumors, Remy Ma, & ‘Point of No Return’

Keyshia Cole

Keyshia Cole was back on Power 105.1′s “The Breakfast Club” on Wednesday. The newly-single mother, who is currently on her “Point of No Return” tour, dished about everything from her relationship status to lesbian rumors surrounding her DJ Mustard-produced single “She.” Despite the provocative lyrics, Keyshia maintains that the song is about self love.

She also opened up about her separation from husband Daniel “Boobie” Gibson, and cheating rumors involving him and rapper Diamond. Keyshia is not currently seeing anyone (including Don Benjamin), but would love to date again.

She has been in touch with Remy Ma (“She’s really in a great place”) and revealed that she got “loaded” while recording her album Point of No Return, which will likely be her last for Interscope.

Watch Keyshia’s candid conversation below.

On whether she’s been with a woman: “I’d rather not answer that.”

On masturbation: “When I broke up with [Boobie], I didn’t really have anybody to depend on mentally, sexually. It was a lot of finding myself and getting back in my own groove.”

On rumors that Diamond hooked up with her ex: “If you smashin’ the homie, you smashin’ him. Don’t be cool with me one day and then ’cause you smashed my ex, it’s like you don’t want to talk to me no more.”

On Boobie: “Recently, I told him—I hope you really find that woman and you be good to her.”

On recording the album: “I got drunk and drunk and drunk and drunk and now I’m like sober. Everytime I’m recording like that, I get loaded. Sometimes it’s really hard for me to say how I feel.”

On Remy Ma: “She’s doing good. She’s really in a great place. She’s still talking crap though. It’s in her. I told her, I got her back, whatever she needs.”

She was drunk the whole time she recorded her album??? 0_o who the fuck wants to pay money to hear you sing drunk on your album. This is why she will always be “Z-List”

@Deejay, and she said she goes back and re-records the vocals. A drunk man speaks a sober mans mind, you ever hear that. Sometimes when your faded it’s when you get the most real, and for the type of album she put together (free styling), she could say what she felt without thinking about it.

I hate to say it but without Ron being her, this album is going nowhere. Ron Fair was the reason why Keyshia had some past success. When you don’t have that true believer at the label, you won’t get the push you deserve.
