Jagged Edge

Fourteen years after the release of their double-platinum album J.E. Heartbreak, Jagged Edge is back to restore love to R&B. The quartet behind the hits “Let’s Get Married” and “Where the Party At?” carry out their mission in the video for the first single “Hope.”

Shot in Atlanta, the seven-minute clip opens with a mini movie. The guys get into a bar fight and then work to restore their love, while assuring their ladies that they are ready to settle down.

“When you’ve been away as long as we have, you want to come out with something that people are like, ‘I know that’s Jagged Edge,'” the group told Rap-Up. “So we felt like the best way to do that was to give them something that sonically felt like we made it in the ’90s.”

The ballad, written and produced by twin brothers Brian and Brandon Casey and Bryan-Michael Cox, is set to appear on J.E. Heartbreak 2, executive produced by Jermaine Dupri.
