Tyga Announces 'The Gold Album' Release Date
T-Raww is coming this fall. The Young Money rapper has announced a November 18 release date for his fifth LP, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.
“The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty drops NOV 18th!!!!” tweeted Tyga.
The album has spawned the singles “Wait for a Minute” featuring Justin Bieber and the Young Thug-assisted “Hookah.”
In February, Tyga revealed that Kanye West would serve as the album’s executive producer.
“It’s way less commercial,” he told Power 106 of the follow-up to 2013’s Hotel California. “I felt like Hotel California was more commercial and I made more radio-type records. This album is straight rap.”
Last month, he dropped off Wiz Khalifa’s “Under the Influence of Music” tour to focus on finishing the album and film a movie.
He is also working with Chris Brown on their joint album Fan of a Fan.
