Video: Lil Wayne - 'Krazy'

Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne has lost his mind. The Young Money boss unleashes the wild video for his Carter V single “Krazy.” While wearing a strait-jacket, Weezy is dragged through an insane asylum in the Colin Tilley-directed clip, which was inspired by the 1975 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

“This is the first video from Carter V. It’s not about anyone being crazy, although I guess some people think the things I do are crazy,” said Wayne. “I thought the idea of being in a strait-jacket would work for this song, so that’s what we did.”

Tilley added, “We talked about putting Lil Wayne in a psych ward and I definitely took some inspiration from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, just as far as the look and feel for it. It’s more of the psychological trip that Lil Wayne’s going through in this place.”

The song is set to appear on Tha Carter V, due later this year. Just last week, he debuted his new single “Grindin” featuring Drake.
