“Love & Hip Hop” is going Hollywood. VH1 has called on some familiar faces for the latest installment of its popular franchise.

The series will follow a new cast of celebrities and musicians including Ray J, Soulja Boy, Omarion, Lil Fizz, and Teairra Mari.

Ray J will explore his relationship with best friend and executive assistant Morgan Hardman, while cameras follow Soulja Boy and his girlfriend Nia Riley, the daughter of Teddy Riley.

New dad Omarion prepares to start a family with backup vocalist Apryl Jones, while his former B2K bandmate Lil Fizz thinks about settling down with his lover Amanda Secor.

The cast also includes Yung Berg, rapper Hazel E, Power 106 DJ Yesi Ortiz, club promoter Sincere, and real estate heir Nikki Mudarris.

Watch the shock, drama, and scandal unfold when “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” premieres September 15 at 8 p.m.

It has come to my attention that despite the show being called “Love and HIP-HOP,” there is a dearth of REAL HIP-HOP acts featured. Nobody from Duck Down or Stone’s Throw for the NY version, no Dungeon Family affiliates for the ATL version, and no TDE affiliates for the Cali version.

Therefore, it is with regret that I, in my duty as Chief Enforcer, do hereby REVOKE your privilege to use the name of HIP-HOP as you have taken it in vain. I will be expecting you to remove it within 30 days, otherwise I will be coming to your offices to repossess that part of the title.

@ukidding, It’s gonna be for a skit on my upcoming mixalbum.

“There we go, it’s done…now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to the Worldstar headquarters…they’ve LONG been lost their privilege to have HIP-HOP in their name!”

@Shutterbug, if anyone does a reality show about the Duck Down crew, I will definitely watch. Those guys are hood and hilarious. You should pitch the idea. I wonder what their love life is like

I swear these shows are for irrelevent ass rappers to try and get some relevency, but they still never got noticed for their music. Besides K. Michelle & Joe Budden, which rapper/singer on these shows do you actually see release music????

    Wow Reply:

@Nick, Um Amina Buddafly from Love and Hip-Hop New York released music. Her album is out on iTunes, it was released last year. Go check it out! ;)
