Suge Knight Shot During Pre-VMA Party

A pre-VMA party turned violent in the early hours of Sunday, leaving three people injured including Suge Knight.

According to TMZ, multiple shots rang out at 1OAK nightclub in West Hollywood at around 1:30 a.m.

Knight was reportedly shot six times in the stomach, arm, and other places, and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. He underwent surgery and is expected to recover.

The former Death Row Records CEO was one of three people shot. At least one is in critical condition. Cops had guns drawn as clubgoers exited with their hands up following the shooting.

Chris Brown was hosting the pre-VMA event, which was also attended by Tyson Beckford,, and Robert Ri’chard.

Prior to the shooting, Game and his friends got into an altercation with security guards and had a full-on fight. Game was denied entry and left the club, but his friends stayed behind.

Police are investigating beef between gang members as the cause of the nightclub shooting.

Eyewitnesses say Brown was throwing up gang signs in the club and was performing with a red bandana. Several known gang bangers surrounded him at the time of the shooting.

Both Game and Knight are affiliated with the Bloods.
