French Montana Announces 'Mac & Cheese' Release Date, Tour with Jeremih
Don’t panic. French Montana will release a new album before the year is over. The Coke Boy has set a release date for his sophomore LP Mac & Cheese.
The follow-up to his 2013 debut Excuse My French will arrive on December 16 featuring the DJ Mustard-produced single “Don’t Panic.”
In an interview with Rap-Up TV, French said that he has recorded around 80 songs including the Miguel-assisted “Explicit” and “Gucci Mane” featuring Rick Ross and Lil Wayne.
“We based it on when Gucci went crazy at that one time, just like went bad on everybody,” he said of the Kanye West and Mekanics-produced track. “The record’s like when you’re about to lose it—Ross on the hook, me and Wayne. It’s a crazy record. We gon’ blow their socks off.”
He has also announced dates for his “Set It Off” co-headlining tour with Jeremih. The U.S. trek will start in Fort Lauderdale on December 1 and wrap on December 22 in San Francisco. Jeremih will join him on 10 of the 16 stops.
On Friday, French was in the hot seat during his visit to “The Wendy Williams Show,” where he opened up about his relationship with Khloe Kardashian.
“Right now, we’re on real good terms,” he said of his former girlfriend. “She gonna be my baby forever.”
