Rita Ora to Perform at Oscars

  /  01.28.2015

Rita Ora is bringing her blonde ambition to the Oscars.

The British singer will take the stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood to perform her Oscar-nominated song “Grateful” from the romantic drama Beyond the Lights. The Diane Warren-penned song is up for Original Song.

“The mixture of her incredible voice and glamour makes a perfect combination for our show,” said Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

Common and John Legend will also perform their Oscar-nominated song “Glory” from the movie Selma, while Adam Levine will sing “Lost Stars” from Begin Again.

The 87th Academy Awards, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, will air live on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. EST on ABC.

Rita can currently be seen on “The Voice” in the U.K., and stars as Christian Grey’s sister in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie. Her sophomore album is due this spring.
