Azealia Banks Transforms Into the 'Ice Princess'

Move over Elsa. There’s a new ice princess in town. Azealia Banks transformed into her own Frozen character while filming a video for the araabMUZIK-produced single off her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste. The Harlem rapper shared a few behind-the-scenes photos of herself getting done up for the shoot. She donned powdery white face makeup, feathery blue eyebrows, blue contacts, and frosted cheeks.

Her ice princess look didn’t come without backlash. Some on social media accused Banks of donning whiteface, but the sharp-tongued MC shot back at her critics, using Snoop Dogg’s whiteface persona Todd as an example.
