Sam Smith and Mary J. Blige Perform 'Stay With Me' at Grammys

Sam Smith had an incredible night at the Grammys. Not only did the British crooner go home with four awards, he also dueted with his idol Mary J. Blige on his hit “Stay With Me.”

Smith will be taking his trophies including Album of the Year and Record of the Year back home to the U.K. While accepting Record of the Year, he thanked his former lover who inspired his album.

“Thank you to the man who broke my heart, it just got me four Grammys,” joked Smith.

He is already working on his next album, and told Ryan Seacrest that it will be “even sadder.”
