K. Michelle Performs 'How Do You Know?' on 'Today'
A week after kicking off her “My Twisted Mind” tour, K. Michelle stopped by “Today” on Wednesday. Rocking a black pixie cut, the R&B powerhouse belted out the emotional ballad “How Do You Know?” off her latest album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?
She also spoke briefly with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford about the sacrifices she’s had to make. “It’s time consuming,” she said of her touring schedule. “I’m away from my son, but at the end of the day, I have to take care of him and I need to get out there and sing for my fans. I fought so hard for this.”
K. Michelle’s tour continues Thursday in Orlando before wrapping March 6 in Indianapolis. Her VH1 show “K. Michelle: My Life” has also been renewed for a second season and she will appear on “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.”
