Drake Brings Out Kanye West, Covers 'FourFiveSeconds' and 'Only One' at Sprite Concert
Fresh off the surprise release of his mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, Drake co-headlined Sprite’s “Obey Your Thirst” concert at Irving Plaza in New York City on Friday. The NBA All-Star Weekend kickoff concert also featured a performance from Nas and a DJ set by Q-Tip.
The Canadian rapper, whose tape is expected to sell 400-500k copies in its first weekend, performed new songs including “Legend” and “Energy,” and delivered his verse from Nicki Minaj’s “Truffle Butter” (via Word on Road).
He also brought out special guests Kanye West for “Don’t Like” and Travi$ Scott for “Mamacita,” and had the club going up as he performed “Tuesday” with ILoveMakonnen.
Additionally, Drizzy showed off his vocal chops while covering Rihanna’s “FourFiveSeconds” and Kanye’s “Only One.”
