Erykah Badu Gives Hilarious Interview While Stranded at Airport

The winter weather has left thousands stranded including Erykah Badu. While waiting for her L.A.-bound flight at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport this week, the quirky singer ran into CBS 11 reporter Steve Pickett and gave a hilarious on-air interview. Dressed in her signature tall hat and furry coat, Badu brought some humor to the situation.

“It’s hard out here for a pimp, you know,” she said before listing off the local schools with closures.

“Badu’s school is open though,” she joked while grinning for the camera.

This is just the latest in Badu’s series of hilarious hijinks. In June, she crashed a live broadcast and tried to kiss New York PIX 11 anchor Mario Diaz. She also busked in Times Square and earned $3.60 from the experience.
