Trey Songz Goes Behind the Scenes in 'Intermission' Documentary
In addition to dropping his 6-track EP The Intermission, Trey Songz has debuted his documentary, “TRIGGA Reloaded: The Intermission,” to go along with the free music. The 25-minute clip, which premiered via Complex, chronicles the past year since the release of Trigga.
We see the R&B superstar on the road with Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj and get to meet members of his touring team. In between hanging out with Meek Mill and cozying up with some sexy ladies in the “Foreign” video, he shares a tender moment with his goddaughter Maddi.
“A lot has happened in a year and after most recently completing two mega tours from the U.S. to Europe, I felt re-energized by the love and wanted to share this glimpse of the journey while giving my fans some new music with Intermission,” said Trey. “The love I’ve received is beyond belief, I’ve attempted to reciprocate it by sharing this vulnerable yet genuine piece.”
It ends with Trey presenting his tourmate Nicki Minaj with a Louis Vuitton box on stage during one of their tour stops in Glasgow.
Trey’s new album TRIGGA Reloaded drops June 23.
