Rita Ora picks her “Poison” in the video for her new U.K. single. The blonde Brit finds herself falling for two men in the cinematic clip, shot in London and directed by Cameron Duddy. She is seduced into becoming a model by a hipster photographer and gets wrapped up in his exciting lifestyle, but eventually realizes it’s not what she wants and goes running back to her first love. But is it too late?
“It’s a cry for help,” Rita told Noisey of the track, written by Julia Michaels and singer Kate Nash. “If I hear myself saying that out loud then it helps me figure it out. I’m a 24-year-old girl, this is a new chapter of my life, and now I can move on.”
The follow-up to her 2012 Roc Nation debut is due later this year. She has been in the studio with Prince, Charli XCX, Dev Hynes, and Switch.
