Big Sean Records Song for 'Terminator Genisys' Soundtrack
Big Sean is teaming up with Chinese pop star Jane Zhang for the Terminator Genisys soundtrack. The G.O.O.D. Music MC has recorded an original song called “Fighting Shadows” for the sci-fi action film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“Fighting Shadows” will be available for download on iTunes on June 30, and marks Sean’s debut contribution to a feature film.
“I have been a huge fan of Arnold and the Terminator movies since I was a kid, so it’s especially exciting to be a part of the new film,” said the rapper, who is currently on a worldwide tour promoting his third album Dark Sky Paradise. “Working with Jane has been an amazing experience and I can’t wait for audiences around the world to hear her song.”
Zhang is a former contestant on China’s “Super Girl” singing competition series. “Contributing to the Terminator Genisys movie and inviting Big Sean to collaborate was a very special opportunity for me,” said the singer. “I am really looking forward to the moment when people get to hear this song.”
Terminator Genisys opens in theaters on July 1.
