Flo Rida and Robin Thicke Perform on 'Today'
Flo Rida kicked off the Fourth of July weekend with a bang. The hitmaking rapper took over New York’s Rockefeller Plaza on Friday for the “Today” show’s pre-Independence Day concert. He served up a hit-filled soundtrack including “G.D.F.R.,” “Wild Ones,” and “Good Feeling” in front of hundreds of fans, and brought out Robin Thicke for a surprise performance of their feel-good hit “I Don’t Like It, I Love It” off his latest EP My House.

But despite being the life of the party, Flo admitted to being shy. “You would think growing up in a household of seven sisters, I wouldn’t be shy,” he told Carson Daly and Tamron Hall. “I act up a lot at home, but when I went out in the crowd, I was very shy, but I still had some jokes here and there.”
You can also catch Flo performing live during the “Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular” on Saturday.
