New Music: Vic Mensa - 'No Chill'

  /  07.17.2015

Hallelujah, hallelujah. After performing the song live last month, Vic Mensa debuts the studio version of “No Chill” on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show. Over the bombastic production from Skrillex and Jahlil Beats, the Roc Nation rapper rips into the track (“Chopping shit like the Karate Kid, not Will and Jada’s son”), declares his holiness (“With a halo on my deal, I signed to Hov, I’m light-skinned Jesus”), and shouts out Kanye West (“On the phone with ‘Ye”).

His debut album Traffic is due later this summer featuring the Kanye-assisted single “U Mad.”
