Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar Score MTV VMA Nominations

The nominees are in. Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran lead the pack at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

The “Shake It Off” singer lands nine nods followed by Ed Sheeran with six. Beyoncé and Mark Ronson earn five apiece, while Kendrick Lamar is up for four awards.

In the coveted Video of the Year category, the nominees include Swift’s “Bad Blood” featuring Kendrick, Beyoncé’s “7/11,” Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” featuring Bruno Mars, and Kendrick’s “Alright.”

“Alright” will vie for Best Hip-Hop Video against Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen,” Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda,” Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” featuring Charlie Puth, and Big Sean’s “IDFWU” featuring E-40.

Fans can now vote for their favorites in all categories at MTV.com.

Hosted by Miley Cyrus, the 2015 MTV VMAs will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug. 30, at 9 p.m. See a full list of nominees below.
