N.W.A Plots Reunion Tour with Eminem

N.W.A is coming to a theater near you on Aug. 14 with the release of the biopic Straight Outta Compton. But the world’s most dangerous group may also be heading to a stage.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the groundbreaking hip-hop crew is plotting a European tour.

Universal, the studio behind the film, hopes to reunite N.W.A as part of a promotional push. In addition to Dr. Dre and Ice Cube, the tour will reportedly feature Eminem, who will sit in as an honorary member. Em, along with Dre and Kendrick Lamar, also appears on the soundtrack.

But it’s not a done deal just yet. “We don’t have anything settled yet with everyone’s schedules,” says Universal chief Donna Langley. “But we think it can create a lot of buzz.”

Last month, N.W.A (sans Dre) reunited onstage during the BET Experience in L.A.

During the interview, Dre and Cube also spoke out for the first time about Suge Knight’s murder case. The Death Row mogul showed up during filming of a promotional trailer in Compton. While leaving the set, Knight allegedly ran over two men, killing one.

“I was there. But I was just leaving, so I didn’t know what happened until I was halfway home,” said Dre, while Cube added, “It’s the dangerous part of living in South Central. Some people don’t care if you’re making a movie or not. It’s unfortunate because the movie is so good, so creative, so many talented people involved.”
