Meek Mill Takes Shots at Drake at Brooklyn Concert
The war wages on. After Drake took aim at Meek Mill on his diss track “Charged Up,” Meek is firing back.
During his show with Nicki Minaj at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday (July 26), the Philly rapper once again called out his rap rival. He claims the Canadian MC employed a ghostwriter named Quentin Miller to write his verse on “R.I.C.O.” off Meek’s album Dreams Worth More Than Money (Miller has since denied the claim).
“Gave me a verse for my album, but he gave me a verse that he didn’t write, that another ni**a wrote,” said Meek while on stage. “Where I come from, I represent the motherfu**in’ game, I represent the motherfu**in’ streets. If you ain’t wit me, you ain’t got to act like you wit me. I got the motherfuckin’ streets wit me for life.”
He also tweeted his thoughts on “Charged Up,” calling it “baby lotion soft.”
