Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, & Frank Ocean Make Obama's Summer Playlists

  /  08.14.2015

When he’s not running the country, President Barack Obama is getting down to Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake while on vacation. The White House has shared 40 chill tunes for the summer, curated by the commander-in-chief himself.

Alongside greats like Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Al Green, and Nina Simone, Obama’s playlists—there’s one for the daytime and another for the night—include songs that wouldn’t be out of place on any teenagers’ iPhone.

Beyoncé and Frank Ocean’s “Superpower” is getting played in the Oval Office, while Justin Timberlake, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige, and Mos Def all get the presidential stamp of approval. No matter how you feel about his policies, you’d have a hard time arguing that Obama is anything other than the swaggiest president in history.

Check out the POTUS’ playlists via Spotify.
