The Weeknd Debuts Kanye West-Produced Song 'Tell Your Friends'
In less than 10 days, The Weeknd will release his new album Beauty Behind the Madness. After giving us the No. 1 single “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills,” he has debuted a brand new song called “Tell Your Friends” (via HHNM). While performing at Drai’s nightclub in Las Vegas on Tuesday night, he performed the sultry song.
Fans were in the crowd and captured footage, along with Travi$ Scott, who revealed that the track was produced by none other than Kanye West.
Not only did Yeezus produce on the album, he also styled The Weeknd for his shoot with GQ. The Canadian crooner sported looks from West’s first Yeezy collection for adidas.
“I really felt like he targeted someone like me,” said The Weeknd. “It relates to my story. Kanye is such a great friend of mine as well, when he asked me I couldn’t say no. It was the least I could do.”
