New Mixtape: Rick Ross - 'Black Dollar'

The Bawse is back. Just days after announcing the project, Rick Ross rolls out his surprise mixtape Black Dollar. The 17 tracks come with some serious star power in the features department, including MMG signees Meek Mill and Wale, The-Dream, Gucci Mane, August Alsina, and Future, who shows on “Take Advantage.” It’s one of the strongest songs on the tape, with Future Hendrix supplying an instantly memorable hook over twinkling keys.

For his part, Ross rarely strays from the hard-edged boss persona he’s cultivated over the last half-decade, though he does spend a significant portion of the project contemplating his recent house arrest.
