Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Perform 'Downtown' on 'Tonight Show'

  /  09.10.2015

Following their performance at last month’s VMAs, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis brought “Downtown” to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday. The Seattle duo was joined by hip-hop legends Kool Moe Dee, Eric Nally, Melle Mel, and Grandmaster Caz for an electrifying performance of their new single, which entered the top 20 this week.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are two to three songs away from finishing the follow-up to their 2012 debut The Heist. “I’m feeling great about this album,” Macklemore tells Rolling Stone. “It has a diversity of sounds and textures and concepts. We’ve been able to take our time with it, and it’s a great feeling to get to that point.”
