Iggy Azalea Announces Sophomore Album 'Digital Distortion'

  /  10.07.2015

Iggy Azalea is back for round two. The Aussie rap sensation has announced her sophomore album—Digital Distortion.

She casually dropped the title during a Twitter conversation with fans. “Digital distortion is not a song title, its the name of my album,” she noted, in response to one of her followers.

Digital Distortion marks the follow-up to her 2014 Grammy-nominated debut The New Classic, which spawned the hit singles “Fancy” and “Black Widow.”

She plans to drop a buzz track called “Zillion” prior to the official first single, while the album is set for a 2016 release. The cover art has already been shot.

She also extended an invitation to Tinashe to appear on the album. “I would like to work with you again too @Tinashe… you’re awesome. My album this time?” said Iggy, who appeared on the remix to Tinashe’s “All Hands On Deck.”

In the meantime, Iggy can be heard on a track called “Kingdom Come” for Demi Lovato’s upcoming album Confident, due Oct. 16.
