Mary J. Blige and Lil' Kim Reunite at 'Hot for the Holidays'
Busta Rhymes brought some of his famous friends together during Hot 97’s “Hot for the Holidays” concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday. The star-studded bill included Puff Daddy, Lil Wayne, Mariah Carey, Fetty Wap, French Montana, Rick Ross, and more.
But one of the highlights of the evening was when Lil’ Kim hit the stage with Mary J. Blige to perform their 1997 hit “I Can Love You.” The crowd went wild when the Queen Bee spit her verse, and the two ended with a big hug.
“Make some noise for my sister,” said Blige, fresh off her role in “The Wiz Live!”
Missy Elliott celebrated their reunion, tweeting, “YASSSS for my sisters @Lilkim & @maryjblige this warms my heart yall! #funtimes #Dopeness.”
Kim also joined Diddy and Jadakiss to perform “It’s All About the Benjamins.”
