Kendrick Lamar Brings Out Big Sean, Ty Dolla $ign at TDE Holiday Concert
TDE is in the Christmas spirit. For the second year in a row, the famed hip-hop label hosted a holiday concert and toy giveaway at Nickerson Garden Projects in the Watts neighborhood of L.A. on Tuesday (Dec. 22). The TDE fam including Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, SZA, Ab-Soul, and ScHoolboy Q all hit the stage during the free event, which was open to the public.
Kendrick, Jay Rock, and SZA performed “Easy Bake,” while the Black Hippy collective—Kendrick, Jay Rock, and ScHoolboy— performed “Vice City” for the first time.
But the biggest surprise was when K-Dot brought out Big Sean, who performed “Blessings” and stuck around while Kendrick staged his anthem “Alright” off the Grammy-nominated To Pimp a Butterfly. Ty Dolla $ign also made a surprise appearance, performing his own “Blasé.”
