Miguel Is Engaged to Nazanin Mandi
Miguel has found a woman to tame his Wildheart.
The “Coffee” crooner and his girlfriend of 12 years, model-singer Nazanin Mandi, are engaged, according to E! News. The couple has been together since Miguel was 18 years old.
“Nazanin and Miguel are really excited to get married! They’ve been together for some time and knew that they were going to spend their lives together,” says the insider. “All of their friends and family think they are the best couple and really complement each other.”
The proposal was “very heartfelt and real” and “done perfectly,” adds the source. It’s unclear when and where the proposal happened, but Miguel surprised his fiancée with a trip to the Dominican Republic over the holidays.
Nazanin posted a selfie Monday, which subtly revealed a diamond ring on her finger.
Last May, Miguel spoke about waiting for the right time to propose. “I don’t feel the pressure because I know when I commit, I really commit. Now it’s just thrown around because you can easily break up, and I’m not that kind of person,” he said during an interview with “Ebro in the Morning.” “I wouldn’t do that to her, and that’s not how I was raised.
