Video: Coldplay feat. Beyoncé - 'Hymn for the Weekend'

As Coldplay gears up for its Super Bowl halftime show performance next month, the band debuts a video for its new single “Hymn for the Weekend.” Shot on location in Mumbai, India, the colorful clip, directed by Ben Mor, co-stars Beyoncé and features a cameo from Bollywood superstar Sonam Kapoor.

Chris Martin rides through the lively streets in a rickshaw and gets covered in powder paint as he partakes in the celebration of Holi, while Queen Bey plays an enchanting Bollywood star, adorned in Henna and a flowery headdress. The vibrant visuals end with Coldplay in boats as fireworks explode in the sky.

“Hymn for the Weekend” is taken from Coldplay’s album A Head Full of Dreams, which also features vocals from Blue Ivy.

Beyoncé will join Coldplay on stage during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show on Feb. 7 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
