Miguel Performs at His Former Middle School Talent Show
Miguel loves the kids. After performing a moving Michael Jackson tribute at the Grammys and after unleashing his “Waves (Remix)” video with Travis Scott, the R&B crooner surprised students at his former middle school with a special performance.
Dana Middle School kids bum-rushed the stage with phones in hand to catch a glimpse of the superstar while he performed “Adorn” on their talent show stage on Friday (via Miss Info). The students seemed to lose all composure once he emerged and after the quick performance, screaming fans looked like they couldn’t believe what just took place.
“Visited my old middle school for this year’s talent show tonight,” Miguel wrote on Instagram. “Crazy, I always loved the smell of the auditorium and it was exactly how I remember it. Huge shout to all the students, parents, family friends and staff. Loved every moment #danamiddleschool #wildheart.”
