Twista is in trouble. The Chicago rapper was arrested in Valparaiso, Indiana on Thursday (Mar. 24) after marijuana was discovered in a Rolls-Royce Phantom he was in.
The vehicle was stopped by police at around 10:15 p.m. for allegedly tailgating a truck. Twista, born Carl Terrell Mitchell, and three others were en route to a concert at Big Shots, a venue where the Kamikaze spitter was scheduled to perform.
TMZ reports that officers smelled weed and asked the passengers to exit the vehicle, before finding the marijuana. Twista and three others were arrested and forced to miss the show.
Twista has since been released after posting $500 bail.
The rapper is gearing up to launch his “Livin Legend” tour on April 8 in Anchorage, Alaska.
