New Music: Big K.R.I.T. - 'Sticks & Stones'

  /  03.30.2016

Just days after releasing “So Bad,” Big K.R.I.T. unleashes “Sticks & Stones,” a smooth slapper that he crafted for Mass Appeal’s “Rhythm Roulette” series.

“Sticks & Stones” is a great reminder that Young Krizzle is a self-made success. “I make my own beats and write my own rhymes,” he raps on the track. “That’s just me.”

Here, the Mississippi rapper also gives listeners a chance to know more about his sensibilities as “a country boy that likes rap music but keeps Willie Hutch off in the deck.”

The entire song, which clocks in at just under two minutes, was actually made during an episode of Mass Appeal’s “Rhythm Roulette.” In the series, blindfolded producers pick out records and then create songs with the pieces they blindly selected.
