Kendrick Lamar Performs 'untitled 07' at NCAA March Madness Music Festival
Levitate! Levitate! Levitate! Levitate! Fresh off the chart-topping release of untitled unmastered., Kendrick Lamar performed a portion of his new single “untitled 07 | levitate” during the NCAA March Madness Music Festival at Discovery Green in Houston on Saturday (Apr. 2).
But before rocking the Texas crowd, K-Dot also stopped by “The #FinalFour Show” on TBS for a fun interview where he rated himself as a basketball player (“8 and a half”) and compared his game to Kevin Hart’s (“I’m smashing him”). During the chat, King Kendrick also rated Charles Barkley’s singing and Ernie Johnson’s rapping, both with kind, but mixed reviews.

One of the interview’s most revealing points came when the Compton spitter was asked to compare his drive in the studio to the intensity in basketball. “No distractions,” the Black Hippy explained. “You have to completely zero in. Phones off. Bad energy in the studio, kick them out. You have to be 100 percent dedicated, period. That’s what it takes to win in general, what my beliefs are. That’s what we do, every time. TDE.”
Cornrow Kenny was part of the March Madness Music Festival lineup, which also included Twenty One Pilots and Jason Derulo. The festivities are set to continue today, with performances by Pitbull, Flo Rida, Aloe Blacc, and Maroon 5. Levitate with K. Dizzle’s “untitled 07” below.
