Video: Young Thug - 'King Troup'

  /  04.09.2016

Fresh off last month’s release of Slime Season 3, Young Thug unleashes the video for “King Troup” off his February mixtape I’m Up, a visual which acts as a celebration for his fallen friend, Keith B. Troup.

“I just asked God why he come for Troup,” Thugga laments on the single, as heavenly clouds appear. Then, after making his way from a private jet to a gas station, he finishes things off with a message: “Stop the killing.”

“This song and visual is a dedication to close friend that lost his life due to gun violence in the inner city streets of Atlanta,” a message under the YouTube video reads. “In Loving Memory of Keith B. Troup. #LongLiveKingTroup.”

While he readies his official debut Hy!£UN35, you can catch Thugger live at Summer Jam on June 5 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
