Ice Cube and Common Perform 'Real People' on 'The Tonight Show'

  /  04.12.2016

Common didn’t just breakdance on “The Tonight Show.” Fresh off the release of “Real People” and its music video, the Chicago rapper joined his foe-turned-collaborator Ice Cube for a peacemaking performance of their Barbershop: The Next Cut collaboration.

Backed by The Roots, Common and the Don Mega rapped about their long-ago feud and their reconciliation. At the same time, the two MCs urged fans to keep the peace in the streets as “Real People” should do.

Peace is also a theme in the upcoming Barbershop film, which co-stars Eve, Nicki Minaj, and Cedric the Entertainer. Watch Cube and Common call fans to action with their performance.
