Listen to an Unreleased Eminem Freestyle from 2004

  /  04.28.2016

In honor of Throwback Thursday, another Eminem freestyle has been unleashed from the vault. After liberating a 1999 freestyle in January, Tim Westwood delivers a second flashback Slim Shady session.

This one comes from 2004 and it features some of his then-Shady Records artists. Next to Swifty, Stat Quo, and his late friend Proof, Eminem delivers some of his famed freestyles with a mix of technical proficiency, humor, and insults.

“Y’all gonna stand there and act like you don’t understand it,” he raps. “Like my name is Janet / My titty fell out and I ain’t plan it.”

That continues throughout his remaining verses. During his third turn on the mic, for instance, he brought up Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, and 50 Cent.

“I’m a little too nuts for Britney,” he raps. “A little too nuts for Whitney / Tell you the truth, yo, Bobby would probably get me / Catch me in a lobby after he just hit me / After he sniffed three lines, he’d probably knock out 50.”
