Video: Andra Day - 'Rise Up'
“Rise Up” once again with Andra Day. The soulful songstress teams up with famed director M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense) for a powerful and cinematic video for the inspirational anthem off her debut Cheers to the Fall.
As Andra delivers her evocative Grammy-nominated vocals, two actors play out scenes from a love story as a woman helps bathe her man, who’s seemingly been paralyzed by war.

This is the second Andra video that’s been directed by an acclaimed movie director, following “Forever Mine,” which was helmed by Spike Lee.
The Shyamalan-directed “Inspiration Version” is also one of several “Rise Up” clips that Day has released, including the “Introspective Version” that also dropped this week.
