New Music: ILoveMakonnen - 'Sound Like Who?'
Sounds like ILoveMakonnen isn’t happy with the state of hip-hop. The Canadian rapper has already dissed Drake after parting ways with OVO and now he’s taking shots at the rest of the industry on his latest release, “Sound Like Who?”
“All these fucking songs,” he raps on the Danny Wolf-produced track. “Sound the goddamn same, what the fuck these ni**as on?”
Doing the butterfly and the tootsie roll, Makonnen goes on to rhyme about the trap and his “soldiers” in L.A. all while saying rappers are trying to sound like him.
One artist he likely isn’t mad about is G-Eazy. Currently, Makonnen is on tour in Europe with Young Gerald, where the two seem to be having a blast.
