Lance Skiiiwalker Signs to TDE, Readies Debut 'Introverted Intuition'
TDE has announced its newest Top Dawg and his name is Lance Skiiiwalker.
The MC, who’s been rumored to be a TDE artist since appearing on Jay Rock’s album 90059, is now officially a member of the L.A.-based imprint.
“Lance Skiiiwalker is going to be such a breakthrough artist for this generation,” said TDE President Dave Free. “He challenges the traditional format of today’s music, adding another layer to TDE’s unique roster.”
Skiiiwalker is already using the force, crafting his TDE debut, Introverted Intuition. No release date or timetable has been announced, but he has already unleashed his first single, the Rocket-produced “Speed.”
Outside of “Speed,” fans can hear Lance on a slew of TDE collaborations, including Kendrick Lamar’s “untitled 04,” ScHoolboy Q and SZA’s “His & Her Friend,” and Jay Rock’s “90059,” “Money Trees Deuce,” and “Telegram.” Skiiiwalker also appears in the “90059” visual alongside Rock and SZA.
