Drake Cancels Tour Meet and Greets
Drake might be looking for revenge all “Summer Sixteen,” but he won’t be doing any meet and greets on tour.
According to PEOPLE, Drizzy is the latest star to cancel VIP meet and greets for his upcoming “Summer Sixteen Tour” with Future, which starts July 20 in Austin.
The VIP packages had been sold for $1,000 and some of them included a chance to take pics with the Views chart-topper. However, those who purchased the packages have been refunded. They’re being told that “scheduling issues” caused the cancelation.
Earlier this year, Justin Bieber also canceled his “Purpose World Tour” meet and greets. At the time, he said that they “drained” him of happiness.
However, Drake’s cancelation also follows in the wake of Christina Grimmie’s death. “The Voice” contestant was shot and killed in Orlando this month while signing autographs at one of her meet and greets.
