Lil Yachty gets fresh for his XXL Freshman freestyle.
Sporting his trademark ‘do and lots of jewelry, Lil Boat drops bars in the black-and-white video.
“Top floor by the pool shore,” he raps in the clip. “That’s Lil Boat with the biggest ego / Flyer than a seagull / Every time you see me out, you know it’s a movie like Regal.”
Boat also participated in XXL’s profile interview, in which he shares that he’s only been rapping for less than a year and describes his sound.
“Colorful, happy, positive music,” he says. “Positive. I once said bubblegum trap in an interview and then everybody took that and ran with it.”
Yachty is just the latest spitter to deliver this freestyle, following fellow classmates 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, and Desiigner, among others.
