Video: Rae Sremmurd feat. Lil Jon - 'Set the Roof'

  /  08.08.2016

Rae Sremmurd and Lil Jon “Set the Roof” on fire with a new single and video off the duo’s sophomore album SremmLife 2.

Fresh off the Migos-assisted remix to “Look Alive,” Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi link up with the King of Crunk himself on their new turn-up anthem, and much like the track, the clip is both eccentric and energetic.

Directed by Grant Singer, the visual features a booty-full dance party, but it’s not your ordinary strip club. Instead, this one comes with snakes, aliens, and bubbles. Spilling champagne and throwing cash in the air, Swae, Slim, and Jon show exactly how they “Set the Roof” on fire.

As viewers might expect, the clip is full of the carefree spirit that the brothers have come to represent. They ride around in little Benz jeeps and even bust some Kid ‘n Play-inspired dance moves—and of course, it’s all “based on real events.”

In addition to Lil Jon, SremmLife 2 features the singles “By Chance” and “Look Alive,” plus appearances from Juicy J, Kodak Black, and Gucci Mane.

Before the album arrives on Friday, watch Rae Sremmurd get lit in the video below.
