Kid Cudi Exits 'Empire,' Romeo Miller Replaces Him
Kid Cudi’s stint on “Empire” is over before it began.
Due to creative differences, Cudder has dropped out of FOX’s hit show. Romeo Miller, previously known as Lil’ Romeo, will replace him as Gram, Tiana’s new love interest and Hakeem’s nemesis, according to EW.
Cudder had already shot scenes for the series and even appeared in the trailer for the upcoming third season. “Empire” will now likely reshoot at least some of those scenes.
But Romeo is more than ready. Yesterday, he chronicled his set arrival on social media.

Romeo is no stranger to acting. His credits include Honey, Madea’s Witness Protection, and Jumping the Broom.
On top of “Empire,” he’s also reportedly filming a sci-fi movie titled Destruction. Earlier this week, he shared some stunt work from the film via Twitter.

The third season of “Empire,” which will also include guest stars Mariah Carey and Xzibit, premieres Sept. 21 on FOX.
