Lady Gaga to Headline 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show

It’s no illusion. Lady Gaga is coming to the Super Bowl.

Amidst rumors and speculation, Pepsi and the NFL have officially announced that the six-time Grammy winner will headline the Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl LI Halftime Show from NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017.

“It’s not an illusion. The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA!” tweeted the pop superstar prior to Thursday’s game between the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals.

In February, Gaga performed the national anthem ahead of Super Bowl 50. She joins an illustrious list of Super Bowl halftime performers in recent years including Beyoncé, Coldplay, Katy Perry, and Bruno Mars.

Gaga is gearing up to release her fifth solo album Joanne on Oct. 21. Named after her late aunt, the project features the Mark Ronson-produced single “Perfect Illusion,” plus a collaboration with Florence Welch.
