Tinashe Announces 'Nightride' Mixtape
Ready for a thrill ride?
Although fans will have to wait a little longer for Tinashe’s sophomore album Joyride, the R&B songstress has announced a new mixtape, Nightride, due to arrive Friday (Nov. 4).
This could very well be a prequel to Joyride with previously released songs like “Company,” “Ride of Your Life,” and “Party Favors” making the 15-song tracklisting.

To gear up for the project, Tinashe has posted several visuals on Instagram. In one photo, her face is being touched by three hands. Two different versions of the photo (one blurry, one filled with special effects) were also shared.
In a video clip, she waves a lighter over her tongue. In another, an oiled up Tinashe is moving around in what appears to be a sensual trance. Meanwhile, the cover art is a black-and-white profile portrait.

Announced in September 2015, Joyride has gone through several delays. In April, Tinashe postponed her “Joyride World Tour” to finish the project and in August, she told Rap-Up that it would arrive in October, but the album never came. Its release timetable is currently unknown.
